Sat. 4/25, 2:30p: Join Raíces Saturday afternoon on KUNM for a live in-studio performance by the New York-based ensemble Raquel Z. Rivera & Ojos de Sofia, in anticipation of their upcoming weekend performances in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. Raquel relocated from New York to Albuquerque several years ago, and performances by Ojos are a rare treat. This is an exceptional band that includes Camilo Molina on hand percussion, Bryan Vargas on guitar and cuatro, Jonathan Troncoso on percussion, Yasser Tejeda on guitar, and Anabellie Rivera on vocals along with Raquel.
