ALANA BOCK, 30:
I think that Democrats and other folks on the left have been calling on him to do that for a really long time, and I think that he made the decision a little late, but I'm glad he did. I do think that the person that replaces Biden needs to be pro Palestine, needs to push for a ceasefire in Gaza. I think that's in part why Biden can't beat Trump, because young people on the left in the United States were not going to vote for him unless he withdrew aid from Israel.
CHUCK BUXBAUM, 59:
Absolutely, I think it was a hard decision for him, and I admire him for making it, but it was the right decision. I would have loved to have seen Gretchen Whitmer up there, but I think it couldn't be anybody but Kamala Harris as the vice president. It would have been just a fight during the convention if it had been anybody but her. But I think we're going to have our First person of color, woman president, and that's what I'm hoping for.
KATIE MEAGHER, 29:
Time will tell if it ended up being the right choice, but it was probably the safest for right now, given how things were going, I feel like the most likely choice is going to be Kamala Harris. She might be the strongest in the Democratic Party right now because she has more of the She's their face card at the moment. We'll have to see where the DNC takes it, because I'm not sure they're probably scrambling right now, but I would say she's probably the most likely pick. I'm still ready to go to the polls in November, no matter what happens, even though it's been really crazy, but I'm still going to go out and vote, no matter who's on the ticket.
WILLOW GLENN, 19:
He was a very, very, very old man. There are a lot of things that are younger than him. I think at a certain point I appreciate everything that he's done in his past, but I think it was time for him to drop out. Yeah, currently Kamala. I mean, she knows the game, and she's been working by his side for so long, so And I'd love a woman president. I have always voted. I mean, as soon as I could vote, I have and I would vote anyway, but yes, definitely I'll vote. I think that no matter what, Trump shouldn't be President.
NICK FUNK, 24:
I'm currently in Albuquerque. Frankly, I think he did. He's clearly not been doing his best these days, and it seems like somebody who is maybe a little bit more holding it together, medically, mentally, would be the better choice for America at this point in time. The only person I can think of would be Kamala Harris, because, I mean, she's the only other obvious Democratic nominee that I can think of. I was a Bernie voter, like I was a Bernie person back in 2016 and 2020 but I also don't know if he would be able to hold up, medically, mentally, age wise, in this current climate. So I think Harris is our best bet currently. I was going to vote before, and I'm still going to vote now, this does not change my mind.
MERRY HOSPELHORN, 27:
It’s not so much that I don't think I have any confidence in him or his administration. I just think a lot of people are nervous about voting for him. So I think it was a good decision. I think that’s the problem. I don't really see any Democrats that are particularly enticing to a lot of people. I don't think we have any, like strong leaders right now. I think it's very likely it's going to be Kamala Harris, but I think people in Fortune have some opinions about her. I don't know. I just, I think people have already kind of decided they don't like her, and there's always going to be a little bit of an element, I think, of sexism and racism.
