The Same Place at the Same Time is a series of three exhibition rotations that trace how art lives within, emerges from, and connects Taos’ creative communities. By gathering a varied array of arts—wood-fired ceramics, volunteer radio, and Pueblo foodways—into the rotating gallery space, the exhibition highlights the many interconnected maker groups within our larger Taos community. The inclusion of visual art, music, and food emphasizes the diversity of creativity that constructs thriving cultures and communities.

The exhibition is process-focused and collectively developed, documenting how these groups operate and co-curated by the groups themselves. It explores the wide-ranging organizational structures of these collectives, in turn allowing us to consider how these frameworks influence art making, relationships, and the rich culture of Taos. It asks how we might further nurture this expansive web of connections, both inside and outside of the gallery space.

​The N4Arts Spring Exhibition celebrates the creativity and dedication of our artists as they share new work with the community. Join us for an evening of art, connection, and conversation as participants showcase pieces developed throughout the season. The event will also include a Buen Viaje Dance Company (BVDC) performance at 5:00 PM, offering a behind-the-scenes look at our mixed-ability dance company as they prepare new choreography. All are welcome to attend and celebrate the vibrant artistic community at N4Arts.

Led by viola da gamba virtuoso Mary Springfels, performing with special guests Cecilia Duarte, mezzo-soprano, Kathryn Montoya ,recorder, and Hector Alfonso Torres, theorbo, alongside local favorites Stephen Redfield on baroque violin , Jesse Joaquin Parker, percussion, and Kathleeen McIntosh on harpsichord.

The program will feature songs from the 17th and 18th century theatrical and sacred traditions in Spain, and also some exciting instrumental music from the period. We'll present music by composers such as Calderon, Duron, and Literes, as well as selections from the fascinating Trujillo Codex of Peru.

TCMG is delighted to present, for the third time in its series, the Taos School of Music alumni in spring performances. This continues the long tradition of collaboration with TSofM, which for 60+ summers has brought to Taos elite, early-career musicians and prepared them to be artistic leaders. Today, its 1,000+ alumni can be found in leading chamber music ensembles, orchestras, and teaching positions throughout the world.
