ADAC, Albuquerque Disability Arts Collective, is sponsoring an arts and crafts fair featuring the work of adults who have disabilities. Workshops, movies, storytelling, music, and many other activities will also take place. Tickets to the art show are free, and vending is also free. Family friendly and disability friendly fun from 10:00-3:00. From 5:00-8:00 there is a banquet catered by a local chef and featuring a variety show and silent auction. Tickets are 28.00, with funds being used to support ADAC’s regularly held classes, coffee shops and other events held in our community for adults who have disabilities.

Parkland Village invites Albuquerque seniors, caregivers, and community members to the free Parkland Village Senior Health Fair on Wednesday, June 3rd, from 9 AM to 4 PM at the Gateway Center, located at 5400 Gibson Boulevard Southeast.
This community event is designed to help older adults stay healthy, informed, connected, and independent at home. Attendees can visit community resource tables, attend workshops, learn about local services, and access health-related supports including clinical screenings and medication checks.

Registration begins at 8:30 AM and is encouraged so organizers can plan for attendance and light refreshments.

Come to FUSION | The Cell on Wednesdays from 6–8:30 PM for a figure drawing session. Study from a live unclothed model with a classical art approach with no adornment, draping, or garments unless requested by the model.

This is an inclusive and respectful community. They welcome artists of all skill levels and from all backgrounds, creeds, races, genders, and orientations. Discrimination, aggression, disruptive behavior, or bullying of any kind will not be tolerated.

All dry mark-making materials (graphite, charcoal, pastel, etc.) as well as pens and markers are allowed. Watercolors are also permitted but must be accompanied by a drop cloth and materials to clean any spills. Odor-producing solvents, paints, aerosol/spray cans, or mediums are not permitted.

Tables, chairs, and a few easels are available. Participants are welcome to bring portable or desktop easels.

Figure Drawing ABQ is on Wednesdays, from 6:00 to 8:30 PM. Sessions are $10 plus a model tip if possible.

As fellow artists, art instructors, and ArtFix moderators, Lea Anderson and Ivan Boyd, are here to offer valuable feedback, mentorship, tips and suggestions for whatever you want to work on. The last night of class will be set aside for a supportive group critique. This fun, friendly, unique atmosphere will provide opportunities for networking, discussion, and creative growth. Make time for this important part of your life! Open to all experience levels.
