Join Christina Kent Early Childhood Center at The Rail Yards for an incredible evening of community, cuisine, and care (for the 21+ crowd). Crayons & Canapés brings together local chefs in a spirited culinary competition, accompanied by live music from The High Desert Playboys, live and silent auctions supporting Albuquerque's longest-standing childcare center, and beer and wine from our generous local vendors. All of this and more are included with general admission.
VIP admission provides early entry for a cocktail hour, tasty hors d'oeuvres, and an art exhibition featuring Christina Kent alumni.

Monthly Community Sound Bath - first Mondays* | 6:30pm *Holidays push one week, ex. April 13 (second Monday).
Join Douglas Cardwell and Lotus Sound Bath at the free monthly sound healing series at the Cathedral of St. John, downtown ABQ (Silver & 3rd). This event is held on the first Monday of most months (holidays may affect schedule) and offers a wonderful way to experience sound healing for the first -or 100th time, and to introduce others to the sound bath experience in a welcoming, contemplative, and beautiful surrounding with great acoustics (and labyrinth!). This is a secular event, FREE, and everyone is welcome! So, feel free to bring friends and family and join us to break the daily routine, unplug (to recharge), release stress and deeply relax with a unique instrumental meditation practice and gathering. We love seeing and welcoming everyone at St. John's! 🕊️
*Registration is optional, but helpful. Please arrive early! Parking and entrance on East side. Extra parking is available on street (Silver & 3rd) and in the adjoining lot to South, accessed from Lead Ave. Feel free to bring your mat, comforter, pillow, etc. to get comfortable. Dress warm in winter months. Floor space is limited but there is plenty of seating within the cathedral. Please avoid strong fragrances, and kindly NO recording during session. Thank You!
We hope you will join us! Stay well, ABQ. Namaste.🌸

The International Green Urbanism conference series is a global platform dedicated to advancing innovative thinking and practice in sustainable, resilient, and regenerative urban development. It brings together researchers, practitioners, policymakers, and urban stakeholders to exchange knowledge and address the complex environmental and social challenges shaping cities today.
The 10th edition is hosted at Sapienza University of Rome, in a city where urban transformation has unfolded continuously across centuries. Rome’s layered urban fabric and capacity for adaptation make it an ideal context for exploring how historical cities can inform future-oriented approaches to green urbanism. At a time marked by climate urgency, ecological pressure, and social change, the city provides a living framework for examining resilient and regenerative urban strategies.
