A new report from a local children and families nonprofit advocacy organization takes a look at whether or not the state's recent investments into children's well-being are actually making a real difference on the ground, and suggests changes to be more effective.

Casey’s Kids COUNT report, but the state still ranks 49th in the nation for child well-being overall. Advocates say major investments in children are making a difference, though the full impact may take years to appear.
