The President stopped in New Mexico Thursday to highlight his administration's financial aid policies and New Mexico’s historic free college program.

Vying for the position are Democrat John D. Allen and Republican Paul Pacheco — both of whom ran in a crowded primary back in June. A total of seven Democrats and four Republicans were on that ballot.

Voters have through Saturday, Nov. 5 to vote early. Early voting is only at the county clerk’s offices until more voting locations open up when expanded early voting starts on Oct. 22.
