The last day to register to vote in the Nov. 6, 2018 election is Tuesday Oct. 9, 2018. It's an easy and simple way to get involved in the political process.

There are plenty of ways to register to vote including through NMVote.org. The online form has ten steps and takes all but five minutes to fill out. All you need is your social security number, driver’s license or state identification card and date of birth. These must match the information in the MVD database. You can also register in person at your County Clerk’s office or through the mail. You can also request an absentee ballot starting Tuesday through the same NMVote.org website.

Voters are weighing in on races including for New Mexico governor, U.S. Senate, Congress, and Secretary of State.
