In May, we told you about the Center for Hope and Healing, a new holistic grief support space opening in Albuquerque. The still only partially renovated building, which houses the Grief Center — formerly the Children’s Grief Center — and several other grief-informed providers, was broken into over the weekend. Now they’re asking for community support to stay on track.

Amid the pandemic, record homicides in the state’s largest city, and increasing overdoses, those coping with the death of a loved one in New Mexico will soon have access to a new, holistic grief support space as the 20-year-old Children’s Grief Center changes its name, builds out a new space, and welcomes partner organizations to move in.
