In honor of the 50th anniversary of the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC), this exhibition highlights the Center’s history through Pueblo imagery and perspectives of the past, present, and future. A combination of fifty objects from the IPCC’s Collections and Archives, with an emphasis on Pueblo pottery, illustrates the significance of the Center as a gathering place where Pueblo arts and culture are celebrated by visitors from around the world and, at once, nurtured by Pueblo communities across the generations. Gallery videos, updated throughout the year, will feature interviews with Pueblo artists, scholars, and culture bearers that present insider views of the IPCC. Join us to celebrate the exhibition on March 21 from 5-8pm during our free, public reception. Organized by the School for Advanced Research (SAR) and the Vilcek Foundation, Grounded in Clay: The Spirit of Pueblo Pottery, a unique traveling exhibition featuring over 100 historic and contemporary works in clay, offers a visionary understanding of Pueblo pots as vessels that carry community-based knowledge and personal experience. The Indian Pueblo Cultural Center (IPCC), established by the 19 Pueblos of New Mexico in 1976, welcomes the pottery vessels back to the Southwest as the “returning home” host venue of the exhibition’s four-year national tour. Curated by the Pueblo Pottery Collective, Grounded in Clay opens at the IPCC as the leading program of the Center’s 50th anniversary celebration year. The exhibition and its associated events are generously supported by the First Nations Development Institute and Noon Whistle Fund.

2026 World Critical Care & Anesthesiology Conference (2026WCAC) is a premiere educational event which is designed to advance knowledge and expertise in trauma and critical care that rotate between continents and are organized in collaboration with national and international Anesthesiologic, Pulmonary, Thoracic and Critical Care societies and associations. This International Congress 2026 World Critical Care & Anesthesiology Conference, October 05-06, 2026, in Osaka, Japan is targeted to the international Critical Care Medicine community as well as other healthcare professionals involved in multidisciplinary critical care surgical challenges. For every community, there continues to be a need for surgical and medical teams to evaluate and treat the severely injured patients. It is appropriate that this Critical Care and Anesthesiology Conference Congress take the action of leading a continuing education venue for the complex operative and critical care surgical challenges and become the epitome of such series. 2026 The World Critical Care & Anesthesiology Conference (2026WCAC) will be organized around the theme “Advancing outcomes in critical care and anesthesiology”

On the 100th anniversary of Route 66 in 2026, experience “The Old Road”—a mural that at once remembers the first major highway traversing the United States and gives emphasis to its impact on Pueblo communities and New Mexico. Through the eyes of artists Warren Montoya (Pueblos of Santa Ana/Santa Clara), Margarita Paz-Pedro (Pueblo of Laguna/Mexican American), Akilah Martinez (Diné), and Keith Scott (Pueblo of Laguna), this multi-dimensional installation travels through time showing Pueblo people and places along the “Mother Road,” otherwise known as Route 66. Explore the eccentric narrative created by these artists as they look at multiple roads simultaneously, from ancestral times to recent history, to glimpses of the present and future. Already a historic exchange route within Indigenous communities, Route 66 still echoes in the personality and culture of New Mexico byways. Journey through this mural located in the Art Through Struggle Gallery at the end of the IPCC’s permanent exhibition.

Somewhere between the halls of Chouinard Art Institute and the industrial warehouses and artist lofts of Los Angeles in the 1960's, three young artists met. Each skilled, hungry, and with a restless energy that helped to propel them headlong onto the world stage as rare artistic talents. Later, in 1987, when Charlotte Jackson curated an exhibition of work by these three artists: Charles Arnoldi, Ron Cooper, and Laddie John Dill - they had already known each other twenty years. Still Friends After All These Years once again brings together works, old and new, from all three luminaries, whose art, long associated with the California Light & Space movement, engages and challenges the perceptual experience of viewers.
